First Class at Cambourne Village College

Making waves already!

Our very first session at Cambourne Village College couldn’t have gone better. The sports hall filled with a lively mix of absolute beginners and seasoned martial-artists who turned up to lend their experience and support. From the first warm-up drill to the last bow, the energy never dipped—new students soaked up tips from higher belts, and the old hands fed off the excitement of people learning to kick for the very first time.

One of those newcomers, Sam, summed it up perfectly afterward:

“It was hard work but such fun. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere made me try really hard. My muscles reminded me the next day just how much fun I’d had! Phil, the instructor, kept telling us to pace ourselves and build up over the weeks, but I was having too much fun to listen.”

The buzz even spilled onto LinkedIn, where a couple of fresh faces shared their impressions the same night—spreading the word before we’d finished rolling up the mats. You can read their post here.

A huge thank-you to everyone who joined us and helped launch Community Tang Soo Do in such style. If you missed the opening night, don’t worry—there’s plenty more training (and friendly muscle ache) to come.
